Hayley

I was tired and sluggish all the time. My clothes were too tight and constricting. I got out of breath easily. I felt uncomfortable in a LOT of both physical and mental ways. So, I decided that it was important for me to make a change. Did I diet? Yes. But, I did not do some crazy fad diet. We started meal prepping and being more intentional about the times of day we eat. I also decided that I would do some kind of exercise every day, whether that be CrossFit, yoga, running or, often, just taking a walk. I'm 20lbs down from the first photo to now, I'm so much stronger, have immensely more stamina, my mood is more stable, I feel confident in my clothes and I have so much more energy for my babies and my husband and my life!

Do I have to go on a special diet?

Not at all. I believe in a simple habits-based approach rather than a strict diet. The challenge is about making healthier food choices, understanding portion sizes, and building sustainable eating habits. It's designed to be flexible and adaptable to your lifestyle, making it easier to maintain these habits in the long term. So, instead of following a restrictive diet, you'll be learning how to make better food choices and develop a healthier relationship with food.

The focus is on:

Eating Whole Foods: Prioritize natural, minimally processed foods like fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats.

Increasing Vegetable Intake: Incorporate a variety of vegetables into your meals to enhance nutrient intake.

Increasing Protein Intake: Including more lean protein sources like poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, and legumes to support muscle health, satiety, and overall metabolism.

Limiting Added Sugars: Be mindful of added sugars in processed and packaged foods, aiming to reduce their consumption.
